gosh yarn it!

The last few days of school can be  a bit lackluster for the kids. The older students have 8th grade festivities and the 6th and 7th graders are slowly, if not already, succumbing to lethargy for the summer. For our last project, and a means of keeping them busy, we made name signs with colorful yarn. The sixth graders learned to weave with a simple technique using cardboard looms and Popsicle stick needles.
