Hi! It’s been too long since I’ve posted! I’ve been sifting through lost files ever since my hard drive crashed, but now I have so many artwork to share with you all. This year has been very busy in both my work and personal life that I haven’t had enough time to sit down and blog, but now that everything is a bit back on track, I’ll be posting more images soon. I’ll start with a color explosion of work from my Intro kids. We knocked Rodeo out earl this year so that we could have extra time to play with clay before the winter break. I always like to start off with some kind of Zentangle project at the beginning of the year. It’s both calming and fun for me and the kids, and those scented markers are hard to resist. The students had a Western still life object at each table where they were able to sketch and shade from direct observation. We then filled in the background with various patterns to make the black and white objects pop out.
